Salt-Halo Therapy

Salt Halo Therapy

Halotherapy, or salt therapy, is the breathing in and skin absorption of vaporized Himalayan (or other high quality medical grade) salt particles and is considered an alternative treatment for many conditions, including asthma, allergies, bronchitis, and cough. Also, many skin conditions are treated like eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and acne. The client will use our Vitality Booth, which incorporates salt therapy, red light therapy, or both at the same time. As of this writing and after intense research, there are no known businesses in Temple, Belton, Killeen, Harker Heights, Waco, or Georgetown that offer Vitality Booth Salt Halotherapy! Only just a few Vitality Booth's exist in the entire state of Texas!

How Does It Work?

In the United States there have been many studies done on "wet salt" aerosols and its positive effects on respiratory function. European studies dating back to 1973 demonstrate that dry salt aerosol is more effective due to enhanced bactericidal, mucokinetic, and anti- inflammatory properties in its ability to reach the smallest airways
Dry pure grade sodium chloride (salt) is ground into very tiny micro-particles in a special machine called a halogenerator. These dry salt micro-particles are then dispersed into the Vitality Booth. As you relax in the Vitality Booth, particles are inhaled as well as land on the
skin. The particles penetrate deep into the lungs, bronchi, bronchioles, and alveoli, as well as into the deeper layers of the skin.
Pharmaceutical grade sodium chloride has bactericide, mucokinetic, hydrophilic, and anti- inflammatory properties. This reduces inflammation and clears mucus from the airways and nasal passages and eliminates allergens.
Dry salt is very absorbent, attracting pollutants and allergens throughout the respiratory tract, sinuses, and distill airways of the lungs. The dry salt stimulates the body's internal processes for cleansing the respiratory system removing buildup and foreign particles that cause various respiratory ailments and ultimately strengthens respiratory function.
